Madrasati Platform: Sign-In, Classes, Assignments, Exams 2026
Guide to Madrasati — student, teacher, and guardian sign-in, attending virtual classes, submitting assignments, e-exams, and common login problems.
Madrasati is Saudi Arabia's digital learning interface, run by the Ministry of Education. Launched in August 2020 for remote learning during COVID-19, after schools reopened it evolved into a daily complement: assignments, short quizzes, resources, and make-up classes for absent students. Madrasati is built on Microsoft Teams for Education
The platform isn't a standalone app — it's an education interface on top of Microsoft 365 Education. Every user has an official account in the form:
- Student:
<ID-number>@madrasati.sa - Teacher:
<name or employee number>@madrasati.sa - Guardian: signs in from the Noor account directly, routed to Madrasati when needed.
This means technical issues sometimes originate in Teams itself rather than Madrasati.

Daily use
Attending virtual classes
- At class time, a "Join" link appears in the class tab.
- Required: camera sometimes on, mic muted by default, correct full name.
- Absence is auto-logged if you don't join within the first 10 minutes.
Submitting assignments
- Assignments appear under Assignments for each subject.
- You can upload: PDF, Word, image, short video.
- After upload, a "Turn in" button appears — the submission counts only after you press it.
- Teacher grades and returns the file with comments and a score.
Short quizzes
- Also via Assignments, or as Forms links.
- Timed (typically 5-20 minutes).
- Answers lock automatically at time expiry.
Madrasati for guardians
Guardians don't need a madrasati.sa email. They enter from Noor → "Madrasati" tab, and see:
- Open and submitted assignments for the child.
- Grade for each assignment.
- Upcoming classes and absences.
- Weekly reports of student performance.

For Expatriate Parents in Saudi Arabia

Data Retention and Post-Graduation
Once your child graduates from a Saudi school, the Madrasati account itself is typically deactivated for daily use — Madrasati is a live classroom tool (assignments, quizzes, live sessions), not the official transcript record. The certificate itself, and its verification for a third party (a university, an employer), goes through Nataeji, the Ministry of Education's general-education certificate service, not through Madrasati. Student data handling is governed by SDAIA's Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) — for exact retention periods for a specific record type, ask the school directly or check SDAIA's published PDPL Executive Regulations, since we could not confirm a single retention figure that applies to all educational records.
